Cool, arent they?

Why do people try to make others dance?

I’ve noticed from both an outside perspective and personal experience that if at a social gathering such as a school dance, people will do everything in their power to make you dance. Now I realize that is what the dance is for but I’m talking about more extreme cases. I’ve seen people literally FORCE others on the dance floor against their will. What makes people so adamant about everyone having to dance?

I’ve started auditioning for local plays & musicals, and I’ve been in the ensemble of a few shows. In one of them, I had to dance. I did all right, for somebody with no prior dance experience, but I could have done better. So I’m ready to take some dance classes. What would be the best style of dancing to learn to be a better theater performer?

I go to a very small school. I dance at my dance studio 6 hours a week. I really want to be on a dance team because it would be like a sport, something I could represent my school in. The only problem is we don’t have one. How do I start a dance team for my school? Do we need a specific teacher or anything?
